...nd I'm getting a return code of -1 from opus_decode_float (using CBR and 40ms frames). I decided to try the opusenc and opusdec tools to just see how the command line apps would behave. I am getting decoded audio, but I am losing the stereo separation. My test file has speech obtained with a Tascam Recorder, and I spoke directly into each mic individually. I can clearly hear the stereo separation in the recorded audio. I do not hear any stereo separation once I encode from wav and decode back to wav. ...ur audio. now, if you're going to be doing a /lot/ of this, and want to be able to do it in realtime (playing while reading), getting a little mixer panel, with an XLR microphone and integral digital recorder (typically recording to an SD card), might be useful. something like.... http://tascam.com/product/dp-006/ or http://tascam.com/product/dr-40/ that 2nd one is a pocket sized digital audio recorder with integral stereo microphones and line input, it will record 4 tracks (stereo mics, stereo line in) concurrently directly to an SD card, you can then edit the audio files in audacity...

I'm looking for a well-supported ExpressCard or PCMCIA/CardBus SCSI card that can do at least FastSCSI (Narrow, Wide not necessary) that is supported by CentOS 7. I have an Adaptec SlimSCSI 1460D, but it doesn't seem to be supported (it's previously supported by the aha152x driver). Any ideas are welcomed, other than 'just use a desktop.' Does the non-free versions of wine known as Codeweavers Crossover ever make it into the free versions?
