[LLVMdev] Can't get llvmg++ to work
...uched something that
triggers a lot of recompilation. Alas the machine I'm using is
underpowered and it'll be a while before it's finished. In the hardware
requirements you might want to add 128MB as the minimum for x86 systems.
Please don't ask how I know that :-)
I can create a tarbell of the FreeBSD binaries and upload it to you if
you like (once I confirm everything is working properly).

does far more than copy bytecode libraries; it tries to create a full
installation on /usr/local. Naturally that failed because I wasn't root
at the time. I wouldn't want it to install there anyway.

I won't ask, but I'll sure wonder :)

yes. That would be good. Could you cc: Misha Brukman and Brian Gaeke on
that too. I don't have write access to the LLVM web site (I'm not
affiliated with UIUC).
Thanks, Jeff.

You specify the llvm-gcc dir with
./configure --with-llvmgccdir=<dir>
so that Makefile.config has correct settings. The default is probably
/usr/local which is where it wants to install to.

It did copy the bytefiles to $LLVMGCCDIR/bytecode-libs.
--with-llvmgccdir does not control where everything else is installed.
Looking in Makefile.config, it's based on the variable "prefix".

Lots of zero-byte hard link files in cur (and new/tmp), cannot see messages in folder
Hello,
I have an el-cheapo shared hosting account on Dreamhost, and have had it
for a very long time.
For the most part everything usually works fairly well, considering I do
keep a lot of folders, and mail, on some of my accounts.
They are running dovecot, but still don't have a response as to the
version, or doveconf -n output yet.
My problem is, one of my most used folders, which was

I'm another new person to LLVM. I can't successfully compile and
execute a simple C++ program. The compiler seems to work, as it
produces a.out and a.out.bc files, but I get a whole bunch of warnings:
WARNING: Found global types that are not compatible:
