Samba 3.4, Windows 7, Roaming profiles and Folder redirection
...too
bleeding edge for a production deployment(?).
If anyone can point me to some good documentation it would be really useful,
I would love to see an updated "The Official Samba HOWTO and Reference
Guide" or similar. Thought's comments or insights are also more then
welcome.
Thanks,

copy of a share without path
Thank you for your message.
I was not sure if the example (from here
https://www.samba.org/samba/docs/using_samba/ch06.html) was incorrect or
if I was missing something.

And I'm unable to access "alex".
But if I don't use "copy", then it works correctly:

copy of a share without path
Hello,
Is the example for 'copy' (
https://www.samba.org/samba/docs/using_samba/ch06.html ) valid?
[template]
writable = yes
browsable = yes
valid users = andy, dave, jay
When I'm trying a similar configuration, I can't log in and I have this

service restart failures
Puppet is failing to restart lighttpd using the Debian init script.
Both the default action of stop/start and using the reload action, which
