Configuring a server without an UPS attached
...servers are in different locations, so I don't have access to the UPS while configuring the replacement server. I think I have the config ok, but what errors would you expect to see? Typically I'm getting a 'driver not connected' type error in the /var/log/messages: Aug 19 18:07:16 T300 upsd[1308]: listening on 0.0.0.0 port 3493 Aug 19 18:07:16 T300 upsd[1308]: Can't connect to UPS [belkin] (belkinunv-belkin): No such file or directory Aug 19 18:07:16 T300 upsd[1309]: Startup successful Aug 19 18:07:16 T300 upsmon[1312]: Startup successful Aug 19 18:07:16 T300 upsd[1309]: Clie...

Adding new drivers to the pxeboot initrd/kernel
Does anyone have a howto or documentation on how to add new drivers to the pxeboot initrd/kernel? Live migration and DRBD

When the primary node has down, the secondary node start the VM that has original running on primary node... So, this required a full stop of hole system... This is not we wish here....

FreeBSD 7-STABLE, isp(4), QLE2462: panic & deadlocks
Hello everybody, we recently got three Dell PowerEdge servers equipped with Qlogic QLE2462 cards (dual FC 4Gbps ports) and an EMC CLARiiON CX3-40 SAN. The servers with the FC cards were successfully and extensively tested with an older SUN StorEdge T3 SAN. However, when we connect them to the CX3-40, create and mount a new partition and then do something as simple as "tar -C /san -xf
