Yealink t26 and T28 Panels
Hi Guys
We have a strange a strange issue at a client they have 3 panels on their
phone and every so often the panels reboot themselves yet the phone stays
on.
We decided to replace the T26 for a T28 to see if it fixes the issue and
still have the exact same issue.
Has anyone seen this before?

I frequently use the newer T48G and T46G phones with the EXP40 expansion module. There are
issues, if you are logged into the phone via the webinterface as an admin. Among other thin...

...hardware,
but we cannot find any handsets that can cope with it longer term.
Our test involves about 10 BLF-NOTIFY messages per second to each
handset with a 5-second pause every 5 seconds. This will either crash
or render unusable all of the following combinations:

Yealink T28 + 1 x sidecar
Yealink T28 + 2 x sidecar
Cisco SPA504g + 1 x sidecar
Cisco SPA504g + 2 x sidecar
Cisco SPA525g + 1 x sidecar (reboots often)
Cisco SPA525g + 2 x sidecar (reboots quickly)

Did not try Polycom as they do not do directed pickup and only small sidecars.

[LLVMdev] Request documentation for global var syntax
file://docs/LangRef.html#globalvars
The section describing the definition of global vars discusses that you
can specify an alignment and can also specify a section. Could someone
provide an example that works in gccas in release 1.9 for both defining
which section the var is assigned to and defining the variables
alignment?
Also, is there another document that describes how you define sections

Call Drops while doing assisted transfer from remote location
...in office and if
they try to do an assisted transfer it works properly, but only from remote
office phones connected at their homes is not working as calls are lost. Can
anyone input some ideas on why it could happen, as even in the logs it
does'nt give much information...
We are using Yealink T28 phones. Asterisk version: 1.4.21.2, dahdi: 2.2.0.2
Thank you so much for your help.

VoicePulse Connect Problems
Just a quick couple of questions for ya'll.
1) Does anyone know if VoicePulse Connect will be supporting dtmf tones?
I have had a terrible time getting a hold of anyone over there, and I
need this functionality before I can migrate to * completely.
2) Are there currently any problems with inbound DID's? Everything is
setup properly in *, but I am not able to receive inbound calls,

Rebalance without changing layout
Hi
Is it possible to rebalance data in gluster without changing layout?
When I use rebalance with force, the layout changed. I dont want changing
layout, just balancing data over layout.

SIP client floods port 5060 and gets blocked
Hello,
Is there any reason why an IP-phone would pounder on port 5060 ? My
firewall blocks the public IP because it thinks the remote IP is port
scanning on port 5060.
I think the phone is just registering but for some reason it does this
repeatedly in a very short time.
