combinations
...ppreciate any suggestions on which function to use to write subsequent functions analysing combinations of treatments. This refers to experimental trials of medical treatments. I want to write routines to analyse various comparisons (combinations) So .... if 5 treatments are available (t01, t02, t03, t04 and t05) I want to write a general routine that works out all possible combinations, without repeats. The other complication is that I want to be able to designate any one of the treatments as the common comparator such that all other treatments are compared to it. For example, if I designat...

[LLVMdev] RFC: llvm-convert.cpp Patch
...i8* %event_list2, i8* getelementptr ([11 x i8]* @C.103.30698, i32 0, i32 0), i64 11, i32 8 ) Notice that it has an 8-byte alignment. However, the Bar variable has 1-byte alignment, because it's being placed into the "redzone". The generic code for the function is: $ more testcase.c.t03.generic Qux () { static char C.0[11] = {0}; char Bar[11]; Bar = C.0; } Anyway, it turns out that the gimplifier was generating the correct alignment, but it was being overridden in assemble_variable(): /* On some machines, it is good to increase alignment sometimes. */ if (! DECL_USER...

Creating a new by variable in a dataframe
Hello, I have a dataframe w/ 3 variables of interest: transaction, date(tdate) & time(event_tim). How could I create a 4th variable (last_trans) that would flag the last transaction of the day for each day? In SAS I use: proc sort data=all6; by tdate event_tim; run; /*Create last transaction flag per day*/ data all6; set all6; by tdate event_tim; last_trans=last.tdate; Thanks

rsync of file list
Hi All, I would to rsync data spread of many files from remote site. Each file may exist in total different location - the path for each file may be different. My question is: Can I do it one single rsync command, giving a file containing list of paths as parameter, or do I need to run rsync for each file. I did not find any option doing it in the man page. I tried to play with

R issue with unequal large data frames with multiple columns
I'm a bit of an amateur R programmer. I can do simple R scenarios but my handle on complex grammatical issues isn't steady. I have 12 CSV files that I've read into dataframes. Each has 8 columns and over 2000000 rows. Each dataframe has data associated by time component and a date component in the format of: X.DATE and then X.TIME X.DATE is in the format of MMDDYYYY and X.TIME is

need help writing a plugin
Hi, I''m halfway developing a tiny plugin that allows people to scrub flash video files. I''ve got my plugin setup to monitor a directory /movies. Whenever a .flv file is requested within that directory, some stuff should happen, if not, the request should be processed as usual. I don''t know how to do the latter.. require ''mongrel'' require
