reboot of nut managment node resets Tripplite SMX1000LCD
Hi Roger et.al, The shutdown /reset of UPS is near instantaneous after rpi reboots or switches off. FWIW -- It looks like something is off with Ubuntu 20.04 -- I tried with raspbian and arch linux using the same nut configuration on the same hardware and the UPS does not reset. I have repurposed an old rpi2 to act as a nut server. Thanks Roger. Yogesh On Mon, Jun 22, 2020 at 11:33 AM

systemd-sysctl not running on boot
Hey all, After upgrading to CentOS 7.2, non of my servers run systemd-sysctl on boot. So far, I tried running manually /usr/lib/systemd/systemd-sysctl, it runs smoothly and updates all the parameters. I also ran sysctl --system, which also executes successfully. I checked within systemd, and systemd-sysctl is wanted by the sysinit.target which is wanted by the multi...

/tmp full with systemd-private*
CentOS: 7.1.1503 I have a problem with systemd which somehow manages to fill /tmp up with a lot of files. These files obviously are from the Apache server and don't pose a problem per se. The problem is that these files don't get removed daily: du -hs systemd-private-* 7,7G systemd-private-mpg7rm 0 systemd-private-olXnby 0 systemd-priv...

[libvirt] LXC, user namespaces and systemd
Hi! I with my colleagues from Samsung trying to run systemd in Linux container. I saw that the others are experimenting in this topic, so I would like to present the results of my work and tests, perhaps it will be helpful to others. As the prototype I used a manual written by Daniel: https://www.berrange.com/posts/2013/08/12/running-a-full-fedora-os-in...

NUT on openSUSE 12.3 requires additional systemd service unit
OpenSUSE 12.3 has fully embraced systemd, but to get NUT working correctly now requires some further systemd engineering in addition to the usual NUT configuration files. A new systemd service unit is needed to power off the UPS. The service unit consists of a new file /etc/systemd/system/ups-delayed-shutdown.service [Unit]...
