Problem building R from source on Windows

I having downloaded all the tools listed in Appendix E (save InnoSetup) and
installed them and set my path to be:

openssh3.1p1 -- 'ssh' connection gets terminated

connection but it terminates immediately after printing motd message.
Here is the typical failure scenario:

Has anyone seen a similar problem before? If so, can anyone help me out
on this? Tried adding -DPACKET_DEBUG flag to compile line to check the

Disk Size Issue

than 32Gb. Is there anyway to tell Samba to show a set size for the map????

/home2 (8Gb) mounted from system2
/home3 (8Gb) mounted from system3
/home4 (8Gb) mounted from system4
In a directory called /homes (on system5) we link the above filesystems
