In Unbuntu 9.10 synaptic package manager, why are wine1.2 and wine listed separately in such a way that one or the other can be installed but not both? Both indicate newest version is 1.1.38. What is different between them and how should I choose? Thanks,

...fically related to my current install. I remember about six months ago using Wine on Ubuntu, and I believe it worked fine... So maybe it's an issue with my install. (I'm on PCLinuxOS 2007 if that helps. I'm running the latest Wine, I had to compile it myself... the latest one in the Synpatic is about 7 versions old.)
