right usage of bdrb
Hi,

applying a function several times
I am sorry. I am not sure if the mail a send before to this list was rejected because of header (subject).
I've changed it. The first maybe was not appropriate.
I did a function (sec_conop) whose arguments are syndic,
well and wellconop.
sec_conop(syndic='01syndic.txt',well='well-1.csv',wellconop='well-1.dat');closeAllConnections()
This function takes “well” and “syndic”, matching between
them and then it does some transformations. The result is exported to
“wellconop”.

Switch to static file when stream unavailable...
I've combed through the archives and can't really find an answer to this.
Essentially, I'm trying to set-up streaming for a college radio station.
There are several programs which are syndicated that we apparently can't
rebroadcast. The easiest thing that came to mind was setting up a cron job
to shut down liveice at the appropriate time, swap index pages on the web
server making the link to stream unavailable, then switch back and re-start
liveice later.

Page caching feeds and cache file extensions
I have a feeds controller which generates RSS and Atom pages. I put
''caches_page :show'' in it. The problem is that the pages are saved with
an html extension. As a result, browsers display the cached feeds as
HTML rather than XML, and feed validators complain.

...have a client that is wanting to host a podcast. i tried googling for
tutorials on doing something like this with rails but i didn''t find a
whole lot.
are there any resources that anyone can recommend on getting started
with a podcast? i have the rails cookbook which has a chapter on
syndication, but other than that, i''m not really sure where to start.

Unable to install 64 bit on x3650
Greetings,
I am trying to install Centos 5.3 on IBM x3650 with Adaptec based ServeRAID 8k
Just two disk in RAID 1
When trying boot with CD1 the booting process aborts with a kernel
panic saying that some unknown-de and some message saying to use the
correct 'root=' boot parameter.
