When I initially went to change the resolution, it recognized the monitor as a generic VGA, and I changed the monitor type to Samsung Syncmaster 711T at the same time as changing the resolution. Hi Is anyone here using NVIDIA display drivers and a TwinView configuration on their systems? I've got a bit of an issue with such a setup, which started occurring after a recent driver update: I have a laptop that's normally connected to an external monitor (a Samsung SyncMaster), where this monitor and the built-in display on the laptop are set up with a TwinView configuration. Hello all, I can't get higher than 1280x1024 resolution (60hz, 24 depth). I'm running Centos 5 x86 64bit on AMD Athlon64 x2 4600, Geforce 6200 PCI express. Even as root, that is the highest I can set the display. I am guessin the kernel does not support my combo?
