When I attempted to import my Contacts list into dovecot, my mail client told me that the IMAP server did not support "Special" folders. Is there a way to to do the contacts, or sync up Contacts & Calendar from a database or something else? I'm using both Thunderbird and Outlook. I can't say you are wrong ( you can better use a hammer.. ) but caldav is more or less web based. I like the approach in kolab ( store contact in mailboxes, it works with dovecot, I have few server using it) but there is no usable client side implementation. I tried to fix the synckolab plugin for thunderbird in the past ( it works but i'm afraid some parts should be rewritten ) but I think there is no real interest for this approach. Hello Does anyone knows if it is possible to manage a personnal address book with Dovecot and IMAP ? I mean would it be possible to store it in the IMAP user's space and not in the MUA address book in order to always retrieve it even changing on machine / MUA ? Thanks
