more flexible AllowUsers/DenyUsers syntax
Hi,
I hope this is the right place for a feature request.
I'd like to have more flexible AllowUsers/DenyUsers synax.
I am in a situation, where I have machines connected to three
networks (a private, high speed, a public, and a private vpn) and I'd
like to enable root logins only on the private networks. Currently I
see no way of doing this, because there is no way to specify a class

count data with nested mixed effects
...s,
I have count data in which 6-10 points are nested within 17 larger units
(which are nested within 3 larger-still units) plus a number of
covariates. It could be nested ANCOVA but for poisson family. Could
someone kindly advise me 1) if lmer is the correct function for the
analysis? and 2) what synax expresses the error structure? I have
consulted the package HTML documentation but am not experienced enough to
get it.
Many thanks,
Deborah

KVM guest on a specific disk
I'm deploying my KVM virtualization and I have this question.
To get my guest os best performance I would like to install my OS from CD ROM while booting in a saperate disk, say /dev/sda4
then in host os I mount /dev/sda4 as /mnt/vm.
So I can install a guest OS by virt-install with synax --import, right? I didn't give it a try yet so I'd like to know if other people have done it successfully.
Will this let guest os best performance because it has its own disk rather than just a image file? and will it ocuppy the host running resources less?

Accepting Time Server
If samba and xntpd are running, you're done! Samba is a time server.
Setting the smb.conf parameter "time server = yes" will cause Samba to
advertise itself as a time server in the browse list through nmbd.
Regardless of this setting, clients can still set their time with the "net
time" command.

Archive monthly count for blog
I am creating a blog to learn ruby on rails.
from the layout page i pass all the posts as a collection to
_archive.rhtml
<%= render :partial => "archive", :collection => @archive %>
On _archive.rhtml i have access to the collection. I am then gone to
render partial another page _archivecount.rhtml to display the number of
posts for each month.
Can anyone give a clue
