I am trying to use symantic 8.X and ghost a disk. I get "Apllication Error 29004. Read sector failure, result = 1, drive = 0, sectors 2071692247 to 2071692255" when trying to ghost the disk. anyone done this successfully? symantic supports ext3. Thanks, jerry

...hing stupid, i know that memdisk assumes that images larger than 2880 are a harddisk and i even tryed passing the floppy param (whch it did say floppy and not harddisk) but i continue to get errors when trying to boot. Basically what i'm trying to do is create a bootable msdos fs so i can load Symantic Ghost. Ghost8 is now just a hair larger than 2880 and if i have to load any extra nic drivers it's even larger. --- Shaun

My problem is that whenever I try to copy a large file from a client machine to a fat32 partition (ext3 works fine) mounted under samba, the host linux machine will lock up completely.
