Tax Preparation with WINE
...number and other personally identifiable information, onto some distant commercially-operated server, where it may be retained for years. Perhaps I have listened to Todd Davis's ad too often, but it seems that compromise of electronic data transfer and storage is not rare. "Think about it sweetheart," says Eva Rosenberg, Web's Tax Mama. and a tax professional licensed to represent taxpayers before the IRS: "You're nervous about charging something online and here you are putting all your tax information online on somebody else's Web site." Web computing seems very muc...

dovecot.org not resolving!
I had to bypass my unknown sender/recipient domain restrictions to
receive list mail and send this. It's hard to say without a whois
server for .fi, but it appears that the problem might be with the
procontrol.fi. domain.
Action to fix the problem is needed ASAP! I've emailed Timo offlist;
also tried to get him in IRC.

As I understand it, the whole idea behind this legislation was to
prevent landlords from signing "sweetheart deals" with specific
telco and cable providers, and thus locking their tenants into a
specific provider. Congress apparently felt that competition, and
consumer freedom of choice, was in the better public interest.
See http://www.fcc.gov/mb/facts/otard.html for details.

Also, is wait2 a possibility?

As a member of the "old order" I was involved in litigation with my university
25 years ago over the loss of a computer I had designed and built 35 years ago
using gifts and grants. The university contended it had a right to dispose of
the computer as it saw...

You can take that patronising crap you've written above and shove it
back where the sun doesn't shine, sweetheart! I have asked for help on a
specific topic (and yes, I know what the world outside x86 looks like,
thank you very much) - if you are unwilling/unable to provide it, please
move along, there is nothing to see here.
