Questions about static
Using an Asterisk system running 1.2 with Aastra phones. Would be a cause of static for inbound/outbound and ext to ext calls? Its voip both in and out. We swapped, phones, cordes, switches etc?.. Typically a reboot of the phone resolves the problem?person also swears there is nothing on or near their desk to cause interference (microwave, cell phone is purse). Strange?? Resuming the discussion of establishing an LLVM code of conduct
...broadcasts Excellent context! > Some people have pointed out that they don't like the R-rated style of > the LKML. Profanity and no holds barred just isn't for some people. I > can respect that, but personally I find it more funny and raw/honest. I don't care much about the swearing like "s***, I broke the bots again", but I understand not everyone is like that, so I avoid to the best of my abilities. I can easily cope with "this code is a piece of s***", because sometimes it really is. Some people take it personal, though, so it's best if we all al...

newbie graphics question: Two density plots in same frame ?
I swear I've scoured the help files and several texts before posting what feels like a dumb newbie question. How can I draw two kernel density plots in the same frame ? I have similar variables in two separate data frames, and I would like to show their two histograms/densities in a single picture....

dotlock timestamp trouble
Hi there, I'm getting a lot of this message in production log: Created dotlock file's timestamp is different than current time (1232468644 vs 1232468524): /path/to/dovecot.index.log The IT guy swears the clocks are sincronized. AcroRead failing miserably in CentOS 5.0
I could swear that this was working just last week, but now when I run the Adobe Acrobat reader, it hangs. Voice mail - "Extension at" vs "Phone Number" OGM
Is there a way to make an outside call hear "The person at phone number XXXX is unavail", but when an internal extension calls another extension, they hear "The person at extension number XXXX is unavail"? I swear I've read this somewhere before but I'm not typing in the right search. I probably found it before by complete accident. Of course, we want the outside caller to hear a phone number seven digits long, while an extension hears just that, an extension. Chris Coulthurst <mailto:chris@...

I'm having the same problem. I'm having problems passing arguments to functions that I'd like to integrate. I could swear this worked in the past, but I can't get it to work now. I'm running R on Windows. Here's my toy code to reproduce the problem: R.Version()$version.string # [1] "R version 2.8.1 (2008-12-22)" f=function(x,const) 2^x+const f2=Vectorize(f,c("x")) testval=2 f2(1:...
