UDP Vs. TCP
The project involves a "private" broadcast so setting up firewall rules and
forwarding would be a problem ... I'm going to post the project proposal
once I have it finished, since it is a really cool project.

R GUI ???
Hello !
I am really happy to find this list. I am not new to R but to Debian or
Linux in general. Up to now I used R on MS Windows but now I want to use
R on Debian lenny. I have absolutely no experience with Debian.
I was able to install R 2.11 on my system using the instruction in the
readme on CRAN. I can open R in the shell.
On windows I used R with the R GUI or with Tinn-R. Is there the

I guess I need to provide a packet trace, which I don't have handy. I

Question/Feature Request
Using Ices2, is it possible to take 2 mono sources that are presented to
the soundcard as the left and right channel, and make each of them a seperate
mount point?
My sources are all low bandwidth mono, and I would love to have a second
stream without having to add a second soundcard or a second machine.
I looked through the documentation, but I don't recall seeing this specific
ability.

Firewall issue with Icecast
Greetings,
I've recently setup Icecast2 and Ices2 from the sources in the CVS repository.
Everything seems to be working fine with the exception of a firewall issue
that I'm having.
Icecast appears to use a TCP connection, for session setup, that is initiated
by the client. Icecast then sources a TCP connection back to the client for
the stream itself. This basically how
