Beginner couple of questions
Dear all,
I have some questions, I'm sure it's pretty stupid for most of you, but I need
you guys to help me. Here are my questions:
1. Music On Hold, it doesn't play any sound on the parked call or hold call.
But if I do ps-ax, it shows mpg123 .....( I forgot the exact line). I'm using
slackware 9.1
2. I have fxs 3 port, and in my zapata.conf I have included callpickup=1-4,

Create a Yum repository for CentOS 5?
...SRPMS because they're not available on CentOS nor in the RPMForge
repos (Seamonkey, MPD with libshout support, xmms-wma, ...).
I want to create my own remote Yum repository for these packages, but I
don't quite know how to achieve that. I've done something similar with
Slackware and swaret before, though, so I sort of grasp the logic behind it.
Is it possible to do that on a remote server where I only have FTP
access? E. g. somehow create the repo locally on one build box, copy the
whole tree over to the remote machine and then add some according
file/stanza in /etc/yum.repos.d/...

Easiest (best?) linux distribution for dedicated Asterisk box?
First off, I'm sorry for sending so many messages to the list-serv.
Hopefully this will be my last for a while!
I was going to use my WRT54G router as a small Asterisk box, but I
forgot that I had a spare eMachines computer (Intel Celeron 633 MHz,
20GB HD, 64mb RAM). Will this machine work OK for a very simple
dedicated home Asterisk box?
