I followed the suggestions at http://developer.r-project.org/SVNtips.html to check out an anonymous copy of the development branch of R, but so far I have been unable to figure out an analogous way to track the development branch of the recommended packages. (I'm assuming they actually live somewhere on the same SVN server, which might not be true ...) Any ideas...

Hi all, To develop the metapost driver, I did an svn checkout (R-2-4-branch revision 40647) as instructed in http://developer.r-project.org/SVNtips.html i.e., I did a, svn co $REPOS/branches/R-2-4-branch r-release-branch/R Not being a core developer, can I just commit the changes?
