Eclipse and StatET Howto (also added Subversion, Rtools)

I spent several hours trying to get later versions to work, but they all
failed to recognize SVNKit on my setups. Several other users have posted
this issue. The solution is to install 1.4, which I will describe here. I
assume that you already have an svn server setup on svn://svnserver
1. Help > Software Updates... > Add Site... >
http://subclipse.tigris.org/update_1.4.x
2. Pick the packages you want (pay attention to required ones) and install
3. Right-Click on Project Explorer > Import > SVN > Checkout Projects from

acts_as_ferret connection was refused
Hello,
I tried to install the acts_as_ferret plugin:
ruby script/plugin install
svn://projects.jkraemer.net/acts_as_ferret/tags/stable/acts_as_ferret
but I get the response svn: Can''t connect to host
''projects.jkraemer.net'': connection refused.
Everything ok over there or do I need to use a different route?

patch to add built-in support for port knocking
All,
A friend gave me access to an svn(+ssh) repository the other day, and
told me that I needed to do some port knocking to open up ssh. It
occurred to me that it would be extremely convenient if I could add a
"knock" configuration option for the host to my ~/.ssh/config file
and never think about this again (rather than creating a shell script
to accomplish this behavior,
