trying to follow the ha-drbd HOWTO on the centos wiki... I prep two identical systems with centos 5, leaving some disk space unassigned (they only have one scsi drive), create /dev/sda4 partitions on each to use for the repdata... I install the modules, create a /etc/drbd.conf like... tcpdump?
Did the latest Centos4.x kernel break the ability to tcpdump with any amount of traffic? Machines that used to be able to keep up now show a few packets and stop - if you hit ^C they take a minute or so to do anything, then show something like: 54 packets captured 18188 packets received by filter 18070 packets dropped by kernel Before recent updates I almost never saw packets 'dropped

cluster service
I've setup the CentOS version of the RH Cluster Service on a pair of centos 4.4 i386 test boxes... wanting to do high availabilty stuff. its working, I've added a virtual IP and a fiberchannel hosted e3fs file system thhat either can mount, if I manually crash or reboot one, this IP and FS mount on the other, awesome. the servers are connected to the storage via a QLogic SANbox
