Growing file
Hello,
What would be the expected behaviour of rsync, synchronizing a file
that is changing in size.
If I have a file ( say 100G ) that is being gzipped, and I start an rsync of
that file system to a remote
location, would rsync just send the data of that gzip file that exists on
disk at that point in time,
or would it keep looping seeing that the file is changing.
Thanks,
Sameer

I have executed chmod 777 1.call on the file prior to moving it to the
outgoing directory but is there something else I need to do before the file
can be used by Asterisk?
Any help

I know there isnt any "drop in the bucket application" so to speak for QoS
and streaming audio, but bandwidth is bandwidth
either way you dice it up, once you dig into QoS on linux there so much more
you can do efficiently and effectivly.
