Where is my qemu command?
...: qemu: command not found That command syntax is probably ot right yet, but the main question is, where is qemu? I was tempted to yum-install qemu from rpmforge, but I would rather not. Besides the rpmforge version has a conflict with another manual page. - Jussi -- Jussi Hirvi * Green Spot Suvilahdenkatu 1 B 78 * 00500 Helsinki * Finland Tel. +358 9 493 981 * Mobile +358 40 771 2098 (only sms) jussi.hirvi at greenspot.fi * http://www.greenspot.fi

KVM, virsh attach-disk problems
...e shareable > Disk attached successfully I have not seen any mention anywhere about using virtio drivers like this. And the problem with this is that the new disk does not survive guest reboot. At guest startup virsh complains about the virtio drivers. - Jussi -- Jussi Hirvi * Green Spot Suvilahdenkatu 1 B 78 * 00500 Helsinki * Finland Tel. +358 9 493 981 * Mobile +358 40 771 2098 (only sms) jussi.hirvi at greenspot.fi * http://www.greenspot.fi

Named, logging of requests
...rver, I would like to log ns queries (specifically, queries which result with no answer) regarding one domain (for which my ns is authoritative). Is this possible? I know you can turn on logging "globally" using the logging section of named.conf. - Jussi -- Jussi Hirvi * Green Spot Suvilahdenkatu 1 B 78 * 00500 Helsinki * Finland Tel. +358 9 493 981 * Mobile +358 40 771 2098 (only sms) jussi.hirvi at greenspot.fi * http://www.greenspot.fi

Switching to php53
I have a Centos 5.6 server which is using the default php packages. These currently contain PHP 5.1.6. My main use of PHP on the server is to support an installation of WordPress. I currently had WP 3.1.2 installed, but the WP developers have announced that from WP 3.2 they will only support PHP 5. and greater. So I investigated and found that the Centos repo contains a series of php53 packages.
