AllowHosts support in sshd missing.
...ticed that AllowHosts feature of SSH Inc's sshd isn't there in OpenSSH yet. Has anyone been working on this? Am I the only one that seems to miss this feature? AllowUsers and AllowGroups is a very nice feature though :) -- Pekka Savola "Tell me of difficulties surmounted, Pekka.Savola at netcore.fi not those you stumble over and fall"

OpenSSL + OpenSSH version problems

sshd -t to test configuration file syntax?
...can't do e.g. 'sshd -p 2022' to see if it's okay. May I suggest some option, e.g. sshd -t, which would test config files and other obvious issues and return an errorcode if something is broken? Is Asterisk the right tool?
...Skype, except that it would allow for relative anonymity and be open only to a select group. The system should support as many as 500 simultaneous users located on different continents. Is Asterisk an appropriate tool to use in such a scenario, assuming that hardware and bandwidth issues could be surmounted? I appreciate any advice. Perhaps, maybe, soon-to-be Asterisk user. Paul

Determine from which device syslinux booted from
The RAW nature of Disk Imager fails to leverage the unique intentions of UUID to surmount the problems of multiple bootable drives in the same system for purposes of knowing which one you actually booted from and should continue to use. I'm quite sure I need some extra parameters in my makefile, but as I come from a world where all these complexities are happily abstracted away for me by an IDE, I have no actual clue on how to surmount this. However: when I'm done with all my code, I wish to build a package for publication on CRAN, so I want to be sure that not only I can build it on my system, but it will also work well when distributed to other computers (if I understand the package process well, source files are compiled...
