ctokens vs tokens - HTB.
Hi, One more of those ... 1) what is a ctoken with regard to HTB? Does the ''c'' stand for ceil and if so how is it different from tokens? 2) Is the difference, only in the generation of these tokens? 3) Would the ctokens and token be treated equally once borrowed? Kindly help. Thank you. Regards, suraj. __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Protect your

documenting a behavior of adding named item to a list
Folks, Per a post to StackOverflow, I'm looking for an opinion on whether something should be documented: When adding a named item to a list, its guaranteed that the item will be added to the end of the list. SO post: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/7599349/adding-named-item-to-list-guaranteed-to-append-to-end-of-list/7599610#7599610 This is my first email to r-devel, so I hope this is

tables with Unicode box drawing characters?
Hello, I read David Wheeler's table proposal[1] for Markdown and very much agree with his conclusion and PostgreSQL-inspired proposed format. I also read the mailing list archives for 2009 but did not find any clear concesus on whether DW's format was officially accepted (I hope it is soon!). However, I want to ask: has anyone considered taking these simple ASCII table drawings to the

rate vs peakrate - TBF.
Hi, Can you please explain to me the difference between rate and peakrate, in conjucture to TBF. IMHO, rate : controls the no. of pkts flowing through the pipe, and peakrate : controls the no. of tokens flowing through the bucket. A funtion(?) of peakrate and mtu is rate. If this is true, why do I need to specify both peakrate and rate? Regards, suraj. __________________________________ Do

What is supposed to happen when you run dispatch.fcgi?
I''ve seen a number of posts where someone says, "What happens if you just run dispatch.fcgi directly?" Every time I do it, I get a "500: internal server error" message. I was just curious if that''s what''s expected running it directly. I assume so, because my apps all work fine, but that''s always bugged me. Pat

Rails 1.1.2 Flash in Functional Tests
I am unable to get the value of flash[:message] in the test case, where as i am able to get the value of flash[:error] & flash[:notice]. The tests work properly in rails 1.0, is it a bug or a feature added to rails so as to restrict the use of flash. Regards Suraj

How to make a drop-down automatically submit an AJAX form
Hi, I know that to make a dropdown box automatically submit when you change the value, you do this: <select ..... onchange="this.form.submit();"> BUT i''ve got an ajax form, and if i do the above trick, it simply reloads the ajax partial into the whole screen, rather than into the div where it is meant to go. I''ve already got it all working so that if you click

unicorn 0.93.4 - *BSD stdio compatibility
Unicorn is a HTTP server for Rack applications designed to only serve fast clients on low-latency, high-bandwidth connections and take advantage of features in Unix/Unix-like kernels. Slow clients should only be served by placing a reverse proxy capable of fully buffering both the the request and response in between Unicorn and slow clients. * http://unicorn.bogomips.org/ * mongrel-unicorn at

Hi, I am trying to understand filters. 1) Under the U32 section of the lartc howto there is an example (to match ACKs on packets smaller than 64 bytes): # tc filter add dev ppp14 parent 1:0 protocol ip prio 10 u32 \ match ip protocol 6 0xff \ match u8 0x05 0x0f at 0 \ match u16 0x0000 0xffc0 at 2 \ match u8 0x10 0xff at 33 \ flowid 1:3 The howto says ''the filter above

Specify multiple nested random effects in lme with heteroskedastic variance across group
I want to fit a random effects model with two separate nested random effects. I can easily do this using the `lmer` package in R. Here's how: model<-lmer(y ~ 1 + x + (1 | oid/gid) + (1 | did/gid), data=data) Here, I'm fitting a random intercept for `oid` nested within `gid` and `did` nested within `gid`. This works well. However, I want to fit a model where the variance of the
