[off topic] gpxelinux bartpe
...so I need to figure out what else might
be going wrong.
The two methods I see listed on memdisk page
http://syslinux.zytor.com/wiki/index.php/MEMDISK
are WinVBlock and ramdisk
WinVBlock driver I could not find I have been looking on the forum
pointed too but I can't find any links
ramdisk is supposidly enabled in the bartpe modules so this seems not
to be working however i will double check for this tomorrow.
I tried the tftp method and that will not work since it would take
more than 4 hours to load the iso (only 140MB)
udp traffic sucks on my network.

expected bitrates ?
Fo HDTV sized 422 originals, what kind of bitrates can one expect
theora to hit at reasonable quality?
Or put another way, what compression ratios can one expect from
uncompressed to theora given a target of no significant artifacts,
and what kind of peak bitrates would the i/o system require to keep
up with the decoder?
