ZFS zpool created with MPxIO devices question
Customer asks:
Will SunCluster 3.2 support ZFS zpool created with MPxIO devices instead
of the corresponding DID devices?
Will it cause any support issues?
Thank you,

Does iSCSI target support SCSI-3 PGR reservation ?
Does opensolaris iSCSI target support SCSI-3 PGR reservation ?
My goal is to use the iSCSI LUN created by [1] or [2] as a quorum device for a 3-node suncluster.

Host information gathering
I''d like to keep the desired and current states of a machine regarding it''s
configuration.
Sometimes a chain of administrative commands is needed to get a special thing
(re)configured on a machine, e.g. reconfig of a suncluster. This cannot be
done with puppet in an easy way. In the majority of cases, these commands
change appropriate files, which reflect the current configuration. I''d like
to get them stored in a central repository where they can be compared against
an expected state. I''m using fil...

Strange samba behavior
I've run into a situation where Samba is having problems coping. I have filesystems on a SunCluster
that my Samba server nfs mounts and then shares to our Windows PC's. I've twice had a situation
where if I have a failover of my cluster during production time, Samba begins to use up all swap space,
the system load goes extremely high (it went to 98 when this happened the other day), and...

Is the J4200 SAS array suitable for Sun Cluster?
I''m setting up a two-node cluster with 1U x86 servers. It needs a
small amount of shared storage, with two or four disks. I understand
that the J4200 with SAS disks is approved for this use, although I
haven''t seen this information in writing. Does anyone have experience
with this sort of configuration? I have a few questions.
I understand that the J4200 with SATA disks will

Solaris 10 / ZFS file system major/minor number
Hi,
In migrating from **VM to ZFS am I going to have an issue with Major/Minor numbers with NFS mounts? Take the following scenario.
1. NFS clients are connected to an active NFS server that has SAN shared storage between the active and standby nodes in a cluster.
2. The NFS clients are using the major/minor numbers on the active node in the cluster to communicate to the NFS active server.
3.
