NLME - multilevel model using binary outcome - logistic regression
...ty raw when working with the R models (linear or not). I'm wondering has anybody worked with the NLME library and dichotomous outcomes. I have a binary outcome variable that I woul like to model in a nested (multilevel) model. I started to fit a logistic model to a NLS function, but could not suceed. I know there are better ways to do it in R with either the LRM or GLM wih family=binomial(logit) specification, but just as a paralel to the NLME... I was unsucsesful.. Any information or an example would be most welcome... best Andrej [[alternate HTML version deleted]]

Open file > 64 K in COM32
Hi all, I used syslinux to load linux on DiskOnChip in PC104 for one embbeded project suceefully for several months. But due to power lost sometime the image is corrupted. I want to develop a COM32 util to check CRC for the images and load the good ones. I read in the comboot.doc that com32 can use read file SYSLINUX API call to read a file, and the file must below 64K limit. But the ima...

2.999 unable to join domain - update
...ed ), the conversation works fine. If I query my own samba server ( port 445 enable ) , it works fine. If I limit my own server to port 139 using smb ports, or query an NT4 system, the conversation fails. smbclient -NL server -p 139 fails even to a w2k box. Repeating the same test but with port 445 suceeds. Basically, it looks like samba/smbclient isn't falling back to NBT properly. Anybody got any ideas? Cheers, Eamonn

[LLVMdev] RFC: Timeline for deprecating the autoconf build system?
...gt; +1 to this. The situation I frequently find myself in is - doing development using CMake + ninja, and then when I need to actually commit to SVN, I need to build & test with the makefile as well because the builds are slightly different, of occasionally make builds fail where CMake + ninja suceeds. And rebuilding all of LLVM + Clang with the makefile build is *slow*, even on a fast machine. Eli -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... exit status 12 when transferring a large file
...as a lot of work with it (> 13000 matches if transferred successfully). When I look through the logs it caught my eye that the file which was transferred before was the first in this process which had "false alarms". On the other hand, the same happens in those cases when the transfer suceeds, so I am afraid this observation is of no use. Does anyone has an idea what is going on here and how to avoid it? I even thought about an instability in the NIC driver on high network traffic but stressing the driver by an scp or so reveals no such problems. As this is the only file which has...

Qos, HFSC and VoIP
Hello, I''m using Linux kernel 2.6.x and tc (from iproute2 package). I''m trying to use HTB or HFSC scheduler in order to limite the rate of outgoing packets and also in order to minimiez delay for RTP stream. But I didn''t suceed in having this 2 QoS services working. I use Iptables in order to classify packets. Here is my HFSC conf. In fact the pings that i send from this box should be the most highly priorised packet, but there are delayed when i add load on the link (with a scp upload). What is strange is that the d...

Or it may later suceed for a host it was failing for. Renewing the ticket doesn't change anything. So, something strange for me, too. I had tried to reset some machine accounts and to rejoin some hosts. No luck. 4. Unrelated to the previous ones. Well, I'm sorry, I hadn't read the source to see if this is...
