Everything gone right (except at the tranfert FSMO step where I faced the problem described here https://lists.samba.org/archive/samba/2017-August/210140.html , this bug subsists in 4.8.12 , maybe it has been fixed in later release ? At the end , I have all roles transfered ok to the new DC). After the demote step, I followed the wiki https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Demoting_a_Samba_AD_DC#Verifying_the_Demotion , and manually deleted all references to the old DC from the...

I came across this in connection with an unrelated issue > beta[2] Error in beta[2] : object is not subsettable > beta[2] <- 5 Error in "[<-"(`*tmp*`, 2, value = 5) : object is not subsetable One of the messages must be wrong, but I need a native English speaker to tell me which one. -- O__ ---- Peter Dalgaard Blegdamsvej 3 c/ /'_ --- Dept. of

User groups
Wlcome in the club :-) I wrote a topic "Limit of group membership for a user?" with the same problem, and I don't have any answer by the samba team. I have the most recent Samba 3.0.21b, OpenLDAP 2.2.28 and Glibc 2.3.6 version on a Gentoo (kernel 2.6.15) and I have the same problem. I check the NGROUP_MAX (65535) and the NSS_BUFLEN_GROUP (2048) value of the glibc. For the AMD64

[LLVMdev] ARM unwinding bug
Hi all, I'm working on the CoreCLR project, coordinating a community effort to produce an Android port of Microsoft's open-source version of the CLR.  A major part of that is getting everything to run on the ARM32 architecture, which is by far the most common CPU for Android devices. A couple weeks ago, Ben Pye, a developer working on the ARM32 stuff, found and reported a bug related to

...at seems like a bizarre attitude, as you've already admitted that you don't know much about unwinding. Isn't that the entire point of specialization? Having people who have their own area that they know well and become expert in, all working together, is what lifted mankind out of the subsistence agrarian lifestyle and enabled us to build our way up to the modern age. If something went wrong with my car, I certainly wouldn't attempt to diagnose it myself and figure out the root cause so the guys at the dealership would have an easier job of it, because tracking down the problem whe...

Subsisting on that same old prayer, we come to a point where I have to say that "if it looks like a game, and you have the walkthrough as if it were a game, is it a gam?" <http://marchekay.gq/lists/lt.php?id=YUgFAQNVXU9RUVAdU1wDX1cNVg> That of course ties us back to something that I calle...
