[LLVMdev] Using C++'11 language features in LLVM itself
Hello all, Using the Apache Wiki [1] I summed up what can be used simultaneously by gcc, MSVC and clang. I mostly considered only the latest versions of the proposals where there were several, where not there is a link to a note at the bottom. Furthermore I did not scourge through 3 bug databases and I implicitly trusted the wiki page. I drew up a list of profiles, listing the base

Samba share gets dropped from windows
I have what should be a no-brainer setup: Windows network using AD with a single Linux box. I need to provide access to a single directory on the linux box to anyone from the network. Security is not a concern. So... On the linux box, I created a user xxxxx. I added this user to the local samba database using smbpasswd -a. I added the linux box to the Windows workgroup and told it where to

Good email client to use with Dovecot?
Claws is an active project.? I became roundcube free when I set up my own mail server. ? I simply use an email client rather than a browser. Browsers can leak. Comments about the retired TB: ?https://blog.mozilla.org/thunderbird/ -------------------- Practically what this means is that in 2016, Thunderbird will finally be able to accept donations from users directed toward the update and

xbox asterisk?
http://www.pbs.org/cringely/pulpit/pulpit20050512.html interesting comment this week about the Xbox - any intelligent thoughts here? I know the price point puts it above most users Asterisk outlay (I run mine on a $100 P3 -800) But interesting to see what happens if people start running video conferencing etc on their home asterisk servers, and lets face it where else can you buy this

AACPlus Shoutcast v1.90
If you have access to a Windows box, Winamp v5.1 can rip CD's to AAC+. I can't imagine why you would want to do that normally, but it would be useful for comparisons. AACPlus Shoutcast v1.90
Windows 98 is totally obsolete and useless. WindowsXP is a completely different architecture for just about everything except the name Windows. You owe it to yourself to check out WindowsXP, even though it is subsidized by the "eveil empire." :) -g. Hop-On WIFI Phone MSRP $40
I have a lot of folks asking me about an auto-negotiating WLAN phone supposedly being brought to market by Hop-On, which is touted to carry an MSRP of $40 Press photos (stock art) of the device shows it looks almost identical to devices from Zyxel and UTStarCom. I am trying to explain to folks there is no way in hell you are going to be able to buy these phones, hardware only, for $40

How about a little game of... Re: lease?
Hello all, As the holiday season looms upon us, and NUT cracker sounds can be heard everywhere, I wonder if the current codebase is good enough to cut a 2.8.3 release some time soonish. Active development of recently contributed drivers has somewhat subsided; there are still some planned revisions (notably about documentation and statuses for ECO and similar modes), but some more get shelved

Well, it could be used to provide cheaper hosting by subsidizing the bandwidth costs with CD sales, all controlled by the host and not the broadcaster. This would require an
