splitting clusters
Hi All:
I am clustering 500 genes using hclust of R. Visualizing cluster
membership becomes difficult with so many genes in each cluster...Is there
a way of printing the dendrogram in multiple pages so that I can clearly
see what is in each cluster?
Thanks in advance.

apply loop - using/providing a data frame to loop over
...I want to extract individual names from a single string that contains all
names. My problem is not the extraction itself, but the looping over the
extraction start and end points, which I try to realize with apply.
#Say, I have a string with names.
authors=c("Schleyer T, Spallek H, Butler BS, Subramanian S, Weiss D,
Poythress ML, Rattanathikun P, Mueller G")
#Since I only want the surname and the initial of the first name, I create
respective indices
starts=c(1, 13, 24, 35, 50, 59, 73, 90)
ends=c(10, 21, 31, 47, 56, 69, 87, 98)
#Now I can extract the names, e.g. the third one, with

passing a variable (containing the value of the argument) to a function
...matrix, and I want "Effect1" to
be replaced by "Effect2" and so on (my other column names in the data

as an array, and passing the array as a parameter to the lm() function.
Thanks,

Random number generation
Hi Everyone,
I did a quick search of the list and it looks like this may not have
been asked before... I'm trying to generate a matrix of random numbers
between 0 and 1, with 6 columns, 10000 rows. About all I know is that
runif(1) gives me the random number I'm looking for.
Any help would be great!
thanks,

Ed25519 keys in SSHFP RRs
Hello.
Subramanian Moonesamy has gotten the ball rolling to include Ed25519 in
IANA's registry for SSHFP key types [1].
I've opened a bug report [2] that includes a patch that adds the needed
support code and provisionally assigns Ed25519 a value of 4 (values

So How can we proceed in this case?
Also the Upper Limit of Class 6 is specified as 128 bytes(Node Classes)
Will there be any side effect in increasing this to 512 bytes or so
(depending on the average of the Application data)
Advance Thanks & Regards
