daemontools supervise and smbd
Hello,
I'm trying to run smbd with djb daemontools' supervise.
Here's the way I followed:
# 2/6/2002
# problem running samba-2.2.4 and supervise
problem: run smbd with supervise
subproblem 1: smbd & nnmbd with -D option deteach from tty, so
supervise cannot control them;
solution 1: we can patch smb/server.c (foreground patch) to prevent
deteach, but a second problem arise:

...h entry a unique ID (result set 3 #25 would be fine). That
would make them much easier to discuss.
- Exclude examples where only a prefix changes. There were several
instances where the last instruction in the sequence was duplicated
exactly. This is essentially an instance of synthesizing the subproblem
and results in duplicates in the output.
- Group all inputs at the beginning. Follow with an instructions which
are shared between input and output. This'll make it easier to scan the
output.

Yeah, I had been noticing those subsets too. It sounds like it's worth a
try doing a run that looks only for those.
One nice thing is that if we're just looking for subsets, we will not even

Different labels for subsets of points in a PCA or RDA biplot
...he points in a resulting
biplot ("sites" in the rda object) with different plotting colors/text
styles to emphasize certain sets of points. I can't figure out how to
keep the arrows (for "species" in the rda object) and then pass sets
of points and their labels separately. A subproblem is finding out how
to associate a vector of text labels with the coordinates in the rda
object. I had no problem doing this with 'xlabs' in biplot.prcomp(),
but can't get 'labels' to recognize such in ordiplot functions.

...resden.de/ABSTRACTS/riegel2008objbased.html). These
optimizations are implemented on top of our LLVM pass (see above) and use
DSA.
Coming back to the compiler support, I would suggest that the project should
try to use existing infrastructure (tools, code, ...) as much as possible.
Many of the subproblems do have simple solutions, but integrating them can be
difficult because there is a lot of interaction, and design choices can often
have consequences that are hard to spot unless you have broader knowledge
about TM.
We can also offer support and advice regarding TM and the project's topic...

1. vectorizer currently gives up because scev is not giving exit

Philip will have a patch for it soon.

[clang] "Adding support for C++ classes in clang" by Argiris
Kirtzidis
[codegen] "PSP (Playstation Portable) support into LLVM Mips

index problems after update
Hello List,
i have a problem with index-files which is separated in 2 subproblems.
May be these problems are connected.
Currently we use Ubuntu 18.04 LTS which is bundled with dovecot 2.2.33.2
These servers are fresh installed machines and users are added to the
system after, there was no upgrade.
Sometimes it happens, that dovecot stops showing new mail. There is no

Dynamic Programming in R
Hi R users,
I am looking to numerically solve a dynamic program in the R environment. I was wondering if there were people out there who had expereinced success at using R for such applications. I'd rather continue in R than learn Mathlab.
A concern that has been cited that may discourage R use for solving dynamic programs is its memory handling abilities. A senior researcher had a lot of

Large subjects increase memory-usage and enlarge index-files
Several times we already had the problems, that accounts with more the
1.3 or 1.7 billion e-mails in one folder run out-of-memory, even if
vsize_limit of 750 MB is set.
In this case, the lmtpd-process haven't been able to allocate more
memory to read/write/update the index-files and crashed (and the
index-files become corrupted at the end.)
