Genre(with subgenres), Rating and Condition.
2. This multiple category systems are interactive. If you go deep to one
category system''s subcategory, for instance we click PG-13(under Rating
category), the other category system stay on sidebar, only now all

GENRE tags in the file. Not sure how many players will properly handle

Seeking ERD/Schema resources
Hi all. I''ve been working diligently through several of the popular
tomes on RoR:
- AWDWR
- Beginning RoR E-Commerce
- The Money Train (Benjamin Curtis)
I''ve learned lots, however these books cover selling one type of
product (i.e. a book). One thing is eluding me: I''m trying to develop a

more specific. We've had to resort to this minor, silly distinction.. It'd
be nice not to have to use valuable space in the description field to
emphasize that indeed one does play 'proper' techno, or a specific sub-set of
the genre. Having an optional subgenre would allow broadcasters not to be
left behind when sorted on a general list of streams while still being able
to accurately portray their stream and let people find them with ease.

a new directory service
So I've been doing some research and thinking here and there about what
a _good_ directory service for icecast would be like. I'd appreciate
some feedback and some discussion on this topic, before I start putting
a lot of effort into developing it.
First off, I think getting rid of # of listeners is a must. It just
creates a self-fulfilling prophecy and encourages cheating. I think the

This was not supposed to be a one genre field, but space separated free
form list of genres. Probably...
