...but the system ignored it. Either the BIOS is not interested in other video cards or the slot is PCI-X only. I would like to use this machine as my normal desktop as it has 2 processors each with 2 cores at 3.6GHz. It has 4 Gig memory with 4 empty slots and I have a spare to use for parts. I was also successful with 7 computers, however they run version 6.7. For some reason this one computer upgraded to 6.8 and Xorg does not work. I also changed to 3 different terminals and it did not help. I am not giving up yet. To test CentOS 5, I loaded from DVD adding it to a system at home running Fedora Core 7 T2. Partition Layout is: /dev/hda1 - / for the RH7T2 system /dev/hda2 - /home /dev/hda3 - swap /dev/hda4 - extended /dev/hda5 - / for CentOS 5 The system loaded cleanly and gave me the opportunity to tell grub about the other system. CentOS boots fine. Grub Stage 2 will show me both systems.
