Stutter Tone
I think I have something misconfigured regarding voicemails. They work great, I have this setup: Sip.conf [ext1] Context=phones Mailbox=201 Voicemail.conf [home] 201,password,name,email@mail Voicemail delivery and all works great but when I check sip extension ext1 (analog phone using a Granstream ATA 286), the stutter tone signaling message waiting does not work. stuttering in speex 1.1.11
Hi, I've been getting reports of stuttering audio in my VoIP application that uses Speex 1.1.11. Since I haven't had this report with previous versions of Speex I was wondering if one of the bug fixes in 1.1.12 solves a bug which causes the stuttering. To me the stuttering report sounds like the decoder state that speex uses gets messed up. Some info, I use the floating point version of

Fw: Stutter tone when voicemail in box
Stutter tone when voicemail in boxHi, I'm having a problem getting Asterisk to make a stutter tone when a voicemail is received. It used to work, but since I rebuilt my server I can't get it going. I've set put a line in the sip.conf file: mailbox=100 to check it, but it's not doing the stutter tone ! I am using the stable version of asterisk from the CVS tree. Any help /

System Stutters/Skips with wine Under Load
Hello. I am hoping someone can help with a problem I am having. I am running the Windows folding at home client through wine. This app is very load intensive and performs many scientific calculations. It consumes 100% of all six cores in my system. However, I run it with a "nice" level of 19 so that it only uses idle cycles. Unfortunately, with this setup, my system consistently

asterisk 1.8 on Solaris/sparc
I've got the latest asterisk 1.8 running on a Netra X1 with Solaris 10 u10. The system itself is happy and phone calls (between two parties) seem fine. Unfortunately, when a caller listens to a Playback recording, there seems to be moments of stutter - perhaps 1 second of stutter for every 10 seconds of Playback. The stutter is not consistent at the same point of the playback file. To

Local sip client stuttered audio
...n seemed fine. I did a: show translation recalc 200 and see that the translation time should be about 2 ms. When I do the recalc, that's checking the translation w/ my hardware isn't it? Not sure where that delay is coming from. I changed kphone to ulaw and the lag is gone, but now I get stuttered audio (not constantly, but a lot.. almost like a clicking over the audio. I notice this same problem if I enable a console sound driver and dial a number, it has the same stutter before the Console is answered (when you can hear the call going through, but it hasn't connected yet)after I get t...

Using stutter dialtone like the PSTN does
A question: is there any way to get * to answer certain DTMF sequences entered on an extension with a stutter tone? Long version: I would like to add features to my dialplan like "Caller ID Unblock" which work in the same way that the PSTN works: I pick up the phone, get a regular dialtone, press *82, and get a short stutter dialtone which confirms acceptance of the request, and then

unable to enable stutter dialtone
I'm having problems enabling stutter dialtone for users connected to channel banks. Half of our users are on iaxy's and the other half are connecting to channel banks. The users on ixay's are getting the stutter dialtone on new voicemails, but the ones on the channel banks are not. Currently, all users are in the default context in the voicemail.conf file. I've tried the

[Flac-users] Stuttering over NFS & Samba
I've got an Allwell set-top box (http://www.gctglobal.com/Products/Set_Top_Box/set_top_box_0.html) connected to my entertainment center (stereo + TV) running a 2.4.17 kernel. I'm eagerly looking forward to running Boss Ogg (http://bossogg.sourceforge.net/) on it to play my music collection encoded in FLAC. None of my music files are on the set-top box, they're all on a server

directory servers and stuttering

Initial tests with v1.3.8beta2 seem to solve the problem. Stuttering stream
> A good number have id3v2 tags... say 20-30%. Do you find that it's stuttering on id3v2 files? Since those contain data that is counted by the timing code, but not played the the player, that seems a likely suspect. Ie, you'll get _playable_ data too slow. Try a stream with _no_ id3v2 files and see if the problem persists. > > What version of linux? glibc? > > RH 7.2

World of Warcraft freezes and stutters periodically
Hi, When I load World of Warcraft the CPU jumps from an average of 10-15% up to 100% and stays there pretty constantly whilst playing. This doesn't seem to affect gameplay most of the time (and I understand it may be relatively normal behaviour for running games under Wine), but occasionally I get a complete lock up of the game for about 3 seconds. The game screen freezes completely and the

Stuttering stream after 1 minute
After one minute of connection the stream from our icecast 1.3.10 server (debian package 1.3.10-2) starts stuttering. And after some stuttering the client is disconnected by the server. The usual client is a windows winamp. The icecast logs shows that the the client is not receiving data fast enough. A small part out the logs is shown below. That the data is not received fast enough is rediculous

UPDATE - Analog Phones with FSK/Stutter MWI
After purchasing the Uniden TRU9480 and then the Panansonic 5672, both of which do not have "phone company" compatible FSK/stutter MWI, I finally got smart and found out just which Panasonic phones have this feature. Only the following 5.8G models in their current line have FXO compatible MWI. I purchased the 5771 unit and one remote. I have confimed it does in fact work with Asterisk

[Flac-users] Stuttering over NFS & Samba
hi Neologism, i can play flac from my server to my workstation via nfs. i have a 100BaseT line as well. i only get stuttering when i'm copying files at the same time as listening. i'm using xmms. perhaps something is not set up correctly. maybe the unit doesn't have enough processing power to deal with the bandwidth usage (i am unfamiliar with the unit though). anyway just thought
