help on plotting series with different x-axis values on a graph with one x-axis
...h, 15 cm, is measured at slightly different time intervals and so R will not plot the series correctly. Reading in the data using ? stringsAsFactors=FALSE? helps, but the lines are still plottet in an akward fashion (edgy) , see attached image. Model comparison
Dear all, I would like to know if I can compare by a significance test 2 models with different kind of parameters. Perhaps I am wrong but I think that we can only compare 2 models if one is a sub model of the other. eval parent.frame() twice
...obj <- list(call=expression(a)) second(obj) } second <- function(obj) { eval(evalu(obj), parent.frame()) } first() #returns 2, but I want 3. How do I change 'second' such that the value of 'a' from 'first' is returned? -- Regards Rune Schjellerup Philosof Ph.d.-studerende, Statistik, IST, SDU Telefon: 6550 3607 E-mail: rphilosof at health.sdu.dk Adresse: J.B. multicore mclapply hangs
When I execute mclapply it creates the needed processes, but these processes never begin computing anything, they just wait indefinitely. I recently upgraded to version 2.9.1, which might have caused the problem. -- Med venlig hilsen Rune Schjellerup Philosof Ph.d.-studerende, Statistik, IST, SDU Telefon: 6550 3607 E-mail: rphilosof at health.sdu.dk Adresse: J.B.
