...on the card go on and then the machine locks up completely,
requiring
a power cycle to get it running again. After the power cycle, if I look in
/var/log/messages
I see a long cycle of the following messages before reboot:
kernel: Dazed and confused, but trying to continue
kernel: Do you have a strnage power saving mode enabled?
kernel: Uhhuh, NMI received for unknown reason 20 on CPU 0
4. if I cat /proc/interrupts, I don't see any entry for a wcfxo module.
In any case, I did follow the setup instructions on the Digium site (make

Asterisk Zaptel Leading Zero Problem With TE110P
Hi All
I am having another strnage problem :)
When I dialout on any number from asterisk, it use to
add a leading zero in dialed number
for e.g
I dial a number 5832876
and when I check the tracer's result of PSTN switch
that shows me call request for 05832876
thats why I can dial NWD and ISD calls but unable to
dial local numb...

Mediatrix 1104 register problem ?
Hi,
I am trying to test a Mediatrix 1104 FXS SIP gateway with Asterisk, but I
have some problems. When registering the Mediatrix gw doesnt respond to
Asterisk's 'proxy authrisation required' messages as if it didnt understand
them. Strnage thing, when I have type=friend, asterisk says that the
Mediatrix is unauthorised - get fast busy in handset. When I put type=peer
in sip.conf, I can dial out through Asterisk to PSTN - the phone rings but
thereis no voice channel - both ends cant hear anything.
