.conf for 2nd streem
I'm pretty sure it was in the default ices.conf, but I guess I deleted it. How do I setup a 2nd stream? The first plays at 24k, I want same audio for a box on the local lan, so bandwidth is not an issue; so either don't decode/reencode or re-encode at 300+K, or whatever the highest is. Vorbis streems, old and new
Hi all: Well, after making the change to make use of the CVS trees and switching to ices2 (as opposed to the libshout example streamer), the icecast server at bumpy.braille.uwo.ca:9000 is back up. I've put my old 22khz mono files (encoded with beta4) back up on test.ogg. In addition, we've implemented a vorbis subset of Kirk Reiser's egoplay MP3 stream. You can now hear all the

PCM format
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 [To: flac-dev@lists.sourceforge.net] I'm working with the seekable streem encoder library and I wanted to clarify the format expected for the audio data. I'm assuming that all audio data is signed with 0 as the median? This is in contrast with 8-bit PCM data which is unsigned with median of 0x80. I didn't see the fomat for the audio

MP3 streams for MOH: idea
[thread change, different topic] >is there a clean way to have MOH (Music on Hold) source >its audio from say a MS-ASF streem ??? > >got a radio station that wants to have their MOH come >from their ASF based netbroadcast I have run out of time for fooling around today, but I started to think about this one but have no time (or ability) to build this little glue program.

yp.icecast.org || when does your stream come into the db?

A mountpiont is a fragment of a URL (often referred to as a URI) like '/stream1' or '/my_cool_stuff/stream.ogg' You tell shout, ices, or whatever what mountpoint to use.

IceCast Questions.... ("id3 tags, mp3, Ogg, etc)
Hello, I'm a long time user of Icecast. We currently run 12 streams on Icecast 1.x (Mp3). I plan to expand this to 20 streems soon. They are all low bitrate community service. Recently some friends and myself came across the thought of actually generating our own content. Music, talk, etc. I've been running the ideas of the automation setup that would be required to do such a thing. I used to have a low power FM sta...

That's because the Nullsoft team

New feature: remote entropy gatherer port
[NOTE: I'm new to this list and this is my first approach to OpenSSH code.] I've enhanced "--with-prngd-port=PORT" flag to accept an optional hostname as in "myhost:myport", e.g.: % ./configure --with-prngd-port=example.com:12345 Although I'm certain that this may cause big trouble if remote gatherer isn't online (ssh will refuse to open any connection) I

Pulse audo in 1.3.25+
So I used to use the winepulse patch for wine. (Yes I like pulse). But since 1.3.25+ uses mmdevapi for audio, that patch no longer works. That author points to a wine multimedia git, however, after installing that I have no more sound in any wine application, and the winecfg test audio says audio failed. How do I get this new sound server working in wine? -- Sincerely, MacNean C. Tyrrell
