Graphic legend with mathematical symbol, numeric variable and character variable
Hi,
I'd like to make a legend with a mix of mathematical symbol (tau),
numeric variable and character variables.I have tried :
types<-c("Type 1","Type 2","Type 2")
tau<-c(1,3,2)
legend(x="topright",legend=paste(types,"tau=",expression(tau)))
but it doesn't work: the 'tau' symbol is not written in its 'symbol

...more details, what is the R nnet activation function, what is the
training algorithm (rprop, quickprop, ...) ? Also, it seems that the R nnet
"decay" parameter in nnet corresponds to the "learning_rate" parameter in
FANN. Correct ?
Many thanks in advance !

[LLVMdev] OpenMP/autopar support in LLVM
...ses.
d) Automatic Parallelization
- There is Polly [2] which I am working on. Polly can automatically
parallelize SCoPs. It uses the algorithm developed in Pluto [3] for this.
- There are a couple of research projects working on speculative
parallelization. "Jimborean Alexandra" from Strasbourg was e.g. working
on this.
- There is a project called "Parallelization for LLVM" [4]. They have a
lot of interesting stuff on the website, but I am not sure about the
progress. Preston should be able to give details here.
Cheers

[LLVMdev] OpenMP/autopar support in LLVM
Hi
I wanted to know the status of OpenMP (or in general auto parallelization) support in
LLVM.
I read some threads discussing about possible effort in that direction in 3.1 onwards,
but did not see any further discussion on that.
If someone in the list knows the updated info or can point me to any useful info,
that would be useful.
Thanks
Regards

[LLVMdev] speculative parallelization in LLVM
...quite some parts in and around Polly that need to be
improved. Preparing code for Polly such that it fits the format we
expect is definitely one of this. Indirect references is something, I
did not even start to think about. Hence, ideas in this direction are
more then welcome.
All the best to Strasbourg
