Disable IMAP for certain users, but not Webmailer
Hi everybody,
I'm planning to set up our new mail system using the Dovecot mailbox
server. It mostly works fine yet (it's quite straigt forward to set up,
I'd say), but there's a thing I haven't been able to find out yet. We
provide POP3 access for all users, but want to restrict IMAP access to
some of them (because IMAP users tend to leave more messages on the
server, thus increasing storage needs).
I used to do it by...

VNC & GDM & runlevel 3
Has anybody been able to get this to work ?
I have been trying multiple options until now but all give me the empty
crappy desktop with black cross display...
I have tried changing the server_args in the xinetd config, but that
makes a connection and exits straigt away...
On 1 box it works in runlevel 5, but that is obvious (IMHO)...
My Config:
/etc/services
vnc800 5900/tcp # VNC & GDM 800x600
vnc1024 5901/tcp # VNC & GDM 1024x768

DNS Scavenging in Samba AD
I read the 4.9 “Features added" release notes about newly available DNS scavenging features, and the problem with domains that were set up in earlier versions of samba AD.
"It is now possible to enable scavenging of DNS Zones to remove DNS records that were dynamically created and have not been touched in some time.”
“This support should however only be enabled on new zones or new

AD<->Linux: Thoughts
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1
I have a small planning problem...
I built an environment for a customer about six (or so) months
ago based on RH8 which authenticate and mount homes from an
AD server... The Linux stuff was straigt forward - using LibNSS/LDAP
and LibPAM/{LDAP,Krb5} for authentication and samba (2.x something)
to mount the home directories.
Unfortunatly, this required the SFU (M$ 'version' of the AD4UNIX). This
was proven to be _EXTREAMLY_ unstable! We managed to get it working,
but as a long-time Lin...

Skip Busy Agents/Channels from Queue
Is there a way skip / ignore the member whose status is busy in the Queue.
I have two channel member in queue and i have set the peer limit 2 for these
members.
I want to skip those member who are currently on the call (answered to
calls) and now their status is busy, if Queue see the busy status caller
will not enter in the Queue and go to the next priority.

Should be a straigt forward approach. The scalability and io-power of
a sun (or are you specking about solaris on intel) is much better
then of a pc.
The only problem I see is to maintain the owner/rights/... of the
files when transfering them form NT ot unix.
