Re: [PATCH v2 7/7] build: stop looking for ocaml-libvirt
...harness of v2v.) This is a significant step backwards from a Fedora packaging POV which expects maintainers to unbundle any 3rd party deps and use the external packages instead. Why can't we just do a new release of ocaml-libvirt upstream and put that into Fedora (and other distros that care) straightaway. virt-p2v migration
Hi, I've been trying to migrate a physical host with two disks (the first, sda, is the OS disk and the second, sdb, is a data disk) into a VM, and it always fails on the second disk. The first disk, the OS disk, migrates fine, but when it starts on the second it fails almost straightaway with the following error: (0.00/100%)^Mqemu-img: Could not open '/var/tmp/v2vovl811e67.qcow2': Could not open backing file: Failed to connect socket: Connection refused I can't see this backing file, but it may be deleted when the process fails, as unfortunately it cleans up and delet...

Mobiles not detecting as BUSY until Dial() timeout completes
I'm not sure if this is an Asterisk thing, a handset thing or a telco thing, so please be gentle with me if this is not the right place to ask ..... When placing a call over a SIP channel to a mobile phone, if the phone is engaged, it does not return a BUSY status straightaway. Rather, I get a ringing-out tone for the timeout duration specified in the Dial() statement; *then* I get ${DIALSTATUS}=BUSY. Now, given how far we have moved on since the days of clicky-clicky exchanges, it is entirely possible that the mobile phone implicitly supports multiple "lines&...

See the commit message of patch #2, and the libvirt.README file added by that patch. Caller id and the number of rings
Hi all, I have the following setup PSTN -> ASTERISK -> IVR (using dialogic card) 1) Caller id information is presented to asterisk during the first and second ring. 2) Hence, Asterisk waits for 2 rings before pickup the call and forwarding to the appropriate FXS port. 3) The IVR application also waits for 2 rings before picking up the call to get the caller id. 4) Hence any caller

relationship counselling for debian and rsync
...f it makes sense, I would like for the Debian test stuff to just do "make installcheck" (or "make check"), and for Debian people to contribute patches as necessary to make the testsuite work well. We need to be able to test on all kinds of platforms. If the two don't merge straightaway it's OK, but it would be a good medium term goal. I strongly prefer to install binaries with debug symbols to aid user support, and this is now the default for rsync. Is this against Debian policy? "make install-strip" works properly in CVS but not in 2.5.4; until then you might ha...

Error When Using Postgresql Schema With Realtime Sip
I am using asterisk 1.6.1.6 and have been setting up a system to use a Postgresql database as the realtime DB via the ODBC route. I have got extensions and voicemail working but am having trouble with SIP The problem seems to be with using a schema. If I put the table "sip" in the schema "foo" then I add this entry to extconfig.conf sippeers => odbc, psqldb, foo.sip Restart

I echo Dan's point above. Also: I thought the agreed plan was to do an upstream release of ocaml-libvirt, and then require it (as an external dependency) starting with libguestfs 1.40? Cisco ATA186 Internal Dialplan: How to send *8?
...But if I hit *8 it just sits there forever. If I hit *88 it will send *88 after four seconds, though. So I have found one thing that works, sort of: with the dialplan entry of *8t2 it will send *8 to Asterisk if I hit *88. For now, that's good enough, but my Sipura phones all send the *8 straightaway, and if I can't find a workaround I'll have to train everyone to use different pickup sequences depending on which station they're at, which is definitely sub-optimal. I just wonder if anyone else has solved this. Thanks. B.

problem with rsync
Hi everyone, I'm using rsync in several Novell Servers, and some times I get this error: rsync: getaddrinfo: SSCC2NW 873: no address associated with hostname. rsync error: error in socket IO (code 10) at clientserver.c(129) I know it's a problem with DNS, but I don?t know why does it happen? Does anybody know how to solve this? thanks -------------- next part

Quadratic Optimization
Hi, I need to solve an optimization problem in R having linear objective function and quadratic constraints(number of variables is around 80). What are the possible choices to do this in R. optim() function only allows box constrained problems. Is it possible in nlm()? Or please tell me if there is any other routine. Thanks Amit

Variograms and large distances
Hello R list, I need to compute empirical variograms using data from a large geographic area (~10^6 km2). Although I could not find a specific reference, I assume that both geoR and gstat calculate distances among data points assuming points are on a flat surface (using the Pythagorean Theorem). Because the location of my data is large and located near the pole, assuming that latitude and
