rumours of openssh vulnerability
Hi all,
There are rumours flying around about a supposed vulnerability in OpenSSH. Two
details which I've seen mentioned many times are
(a) that this exploit was used to break into a RedHat system running OpenSSH 4.3
plus backported security patches, and
(b) that "recent" versions of OpenSSH are not affected;
but it's not clear if there is any basis for these rumours.

CentOS PPC architecture support
I have a system with a PowerPC cpu which I'd like to run CentOS on in a
production environment (albeit for a home personal server.)
Does anyone know if the CentOS team are actually going to support PPC?
I have found a page which states release 4 is in beta[1]. But little else.
Is there lack of demand for support for this aging arch?
Is there a lack of volunteers?
I'd be willing to

reference page for Apache test page & the project
Some or all of you may be aware that people often contact the CentOS
Project because they come across the default Apache server test page on
a non-centos.org domain.
In trying to contact the domain owner, they mistakenly contact us. This
is despite the language at the bottom of the page telling them what they
are seeing and not to contact us about it.
This has come up for me in responding to

and is as good of a reference as any.
I would urge someone to scrape the gist of that thread and preserve it

seem to find the download for it. Is it generally on the same track as the
other architectures? Or a few versions behind? I was hoping to run hte same

Thanks!
