libusb drops connection to my Tripp Lite SMART500T1U

their proprietary software is loooong out of date. Perhaps at that
point they will open source the code?
Also there seems to be some speculation (or perhaps you know for a
fact) that the Tripp Lite actually includes a serial to USB converter
inside of the device. I have a stockpile of these awaiting
deployment. Maybe I will open one and look inside.

Solaris Zone site.xml recipe
...to start working on the fun stuff.
In the last few days it has become critical that we come up with a better way to manage the configuration of our Solaris zones.
I am planning to write a recipe that provisions the zone [using the zone resource type], but would like to avoid having to keep a stockpile of varying site.xml (used to specify which services should be enabled/disabled) files laying around for various needs. I would rather take a single default site.xml file with a standardized template for all systems and then use a puppet manifest to overlay configuration directives based on the cl...
