Transparent bridging / smart rate limiting

drop icmp/syn based on above clearified rules.
If someone could point me in the right direction/maybe someone has some
examples(?) I would be very greatfull.

Controllers, what? why?
Hi,
I am starting to learn rails and I went through the guide and a couple
of tutorials. Even though I understand controllers or at least I can
use them I can''t see yet the whole picture.
Why do you need several controllers for a single application? If a
controller is just a class whose methods interface with models and
views, why not have a single controller for the whole application?

Error changing password

however I'm running into the familiar "You don't have permission to
change your password" problem, but the passwords are actually set
correctly. My test machine is running XP SP2. Server is 3.0.8. If
there were changes to this in 3.0.9, feel free to tell me to STFU.
I have set the password program to be the idealx script, unix sync = yes
and ldap sync = no, with the following chat:
passwd chat = *New*password* %n\n *Retype*new*password* %n\n.*
Watching the log, it all seems to work properly, but then the text below
is put into the log. It's complaing...

Useless use of AllowOverride
Hello,
While i m trying to start my apache server i am getting following error.
[Wed Apr 14 01:47:58 2010] [warn] Useless use of AllowOverride in line 31 of
/home/tomcat/conf/mod_jk.conf.
[Wed Apr 14 01:47:58 2010] [warn] Useless use of AllowOverride in line 36 of
