[Libvir] libvirt & vde_switch
...thinking
on using VDE and vlans (FW would have 1 interface in each vlan -
machines also), but I am not aware how to configure this in libvirt.
I now assume I can do the same setup with regular bridges for the moment
(benefit of VDE would be only 1 switch for many vlans).

bridge and route without IP

virsh # net-create networks/int-001.xml
error: Failed to create network from networks/int-001.xml
error: internal error Forwarding requested, but no IP address provided
But wan to set the public IP on the Firewall side. How do I do that?
Would the macvtap help me?

vda or sda in the guest
Hello,
I've used virt-install + kickstart to setup machine. Then I've moved the
script to a production machine and in the guest the disk was not 'vda' but
'sda', how is this done?
There are differencet vesrions of libvirt between my fedora (tesing system)
and gentoo (production system).

Hi,
I am looking for help to troubleshoot:
node002 ~ # virsh
virsh # list
Id Name State
----------------------------------
1 dom001 paused
virsh # resume dom001
error: Failed to resume domain dom001
error: Timed out during operation: cannot acquire state change lock
virsh #
then I've looked into /var/run/libvirt/qemu
node002 ~ # ls -l /var/run/libvirt/qemu/
total 8
