Merb::RenderMixin#set_status refers to non-existent RESPONSE_CODES constant
#set_status http://merb.devjavu.com/browser/trunk/lib/merb/mixins/render.rb#L270 refers to a non-existent constant. I tried, while creating #359, to make things OK, but I failed. I started by using STATUS_CODES instead, then used #[] instead of calling a method named STATUS_CODES, then I found out that during the call to #inherited http://merb.devjavu.com/browser/trunk/lib/merb/exceptions.rb#L111, the STATUS constant isn''t defined (yet). I tried to add a #status method to Base, but even tha...

[PATCH 0/3] virt-builder: copy local files instead of using curl
Hi, this patch serie does a small optimisation in virt-builder, i.e. make its internal Downloader just copy files when the source is a local URI, instead of spawn curl in this case too. controller exceptions
Since Merb has the lovely property of rendering the output of an action, using ruby-level exceptions to render error pages in Merb could be a cute way to approach error handling. Suppose one has an action for editing a product which you would like to restrict to administrators: def edit raise AdminAccessReqired unless session[:user] and session[:user].admin? @product =

DRY principle - how to implement?
Hi all! I have ''send_status'' table which looks something like these: id code title 1 sent Sent 2 error Sending error 3 success Success Next I would like to associate some processed records with their ''send_status''. Is it better to use: 1) record.status_id = SendStatus.find(:one, :condition => "code=''sent''").id to

SAMBA 3.0.2 printing problem
Hi I've recently upgraded to 3.0.2 from 2.2.8 on Redhat 9. We have 2 Linux servers and a number of windows XP machines. The primary domain controller has a printer which is shared and to which all the computers have access. Since upgrading, the other Linux server cannot print to shared printers on the primary linux controller or on windows machines and cannot install new shared printers from

HPUX 9.05 & Samba 2.0.0 & problems -> solved !
Hi there ! I just solved the problem that produced following error in smb.log file: 'check_access_allowed_for_current_user: The process is no longer waiting!' Since nobody gave me any help I had to dig this out myself :-) This error happens if two programs hold more than 10 same files simultaneously open through Samba and check_access_allowed_for_current_user() gets called.
