anova and post hoc multicomparison tests
...one,
Like a lot of people, I have been looking for functions in R doing ANOVA
(ok) and performing multicomparisons (like Student-Newman-Keuls, etc.).
As I have been a little bit disappointed, I have bee looking through the
net for such "open source" softwares. I found one in:
http://www.statpages.org/miller/openstat/OS4.html
I have begun to use it, and it seems good and simple to understand (as
for a non-specialist like me).
Sorry for R, but I prefer OpenStat4 to R for ANOVAs and post hoc tests.

Wilcox Test / Mann Whitney U Test
Hello List,
I'm trying to prepare some lecture notes on non parametric methods,
and I can't manually reproduce the results of the wilcox.test function
for ordinal data.
The data I'm using are from David Howell's website, available here
http://www.uvm.edu/~dhowell/StatPages/More_Stuff/OrdinalChisq/OrdinalChiSq.html
If I run the wilcox.test function on the data I get a p-value of
.0407, but when I do it myself I get a p-value of 0.0530. It's not so
much the jump across 0.05, but the fact that I thought I knew what the
function was doing.
I know from the R help...

Randomization of a two-way ANOVA?
Hello list,
I wish to perform a randomization test on the F-statistics of a 2 way ANOVA
but have not been able to find out how to do so - is there a package /
function that can perform this that I am unaware of?
FactorA has 6 levels (0,1,2,3,4,5) whereas FactorB has 3 (1,2,3). A sample:
