Extraneous full stop in csv read
.... Is this due to "in" being
reserved? I initially blamed this on RStudio or to processing the data
through LibreCalc. However, the same result occurs in a console R
session. Sending the file to the console via less reveals no strange
characters in the first line. The data is California statewide
rainfall which was screen captured from the Western Regional Climate
Center web site.
First 15 lines including header line:

Multiple X100Ps -- order?

E. IAXTEL, FWD -- just because, not we really need these for incoming.
For incoming connections, the Vonage and Broadvoice DIDs are doing a
pseudo-hunt using Busy-Forward, which terminates in the POTS line. For
outgoing connections, I'm using:
- IAXTel for 8xx numbers
- Broadvoice for statewide destinations
- Vonage for long distance calls
- POTS line for 911 calls
However, my concern is that Asterisk will keep its Zap channels straight
-- I already identified which of my X100P is assigned to which Zap
channel, but as I'm not too familiar with the PCI bus specs, I'm
concerned tha...

Identifying names of matrix columns shared by many matrices

What is the most efficient way to handle the problem described below?

Problem description:
Each U.S. state has its own matrix. The rows are dates, the columns are
industries, and each cell contains total statewide employment at the
given time and industry. There is a similar matrix for the U.S. as a
whole. Due to disclosure rules and other limitations, one or more
industries may be missing from any given matrix (including the national
one), but industries missing from one matrix are sometimes not missing...
