I saw some cacti scripts, but i have no webserver installed on the streamserver, so i would use only plain files, also a database could be improving some things. So, how can i do this? cu denny -------------- next part -------------- A non-text att...

questions about "Cusum"
...omial invasive aspergillosis and early evidence of an outbreak using cumulative sum tests (CUSUM)", which is published in "Clinical Microbiology and Infection". We have great need to estimate the fluctuation of incidence of IFI in our hospital. But I don't know the details of the stastical method and don't know where can I get a "Cusum" package. Can you give me some materials about Cusum test? An example is more appreciated. Yours sincerely Ping Zhang March 7, 2010 [[alternative HTML version deleted]]

tree/graph data structure APIs?
What is the best code available for simple general purpose manipulation of tree (and/or directed graph) data structures in R? Looking through CRAN, I see a bunch of packages for stastical regression trees, but nothing that seems to provide an API for manipulating tree data structures. What I'm looking for is something along the lines of an R version of the Tcllib ::struct::tree API available for Tcl: http://wiki.tcl.tk/210 http://tcllib.sourceforge.net/doc/struct_tree.ht...

Peer-to-peer audio codec
A friend and I were recently talking about the possible downfall of Internet radio, and as everyone seems to these days, decided that a nice solution would be to set up a P2P broadcasting solution. However, streaming has a completely different set of requirements than file sharing, with bandwidth and QOS become much larger issues. As such, we started to realize that a new audio compression scheme

R Script Template
Hi All, I am addressing this post to all who are new to R. When learing R in the last weeks I took some notes for myself to have code snippets ready for the data analysis process. I put these snippets together as a script template for future use. Almost all of the given command prototypes are tested. The template script contains snippets for best practices and leaves out the commands that
