[LLVMdev] [PATCH] MC: handle .cfi_startproc simple

Network stops responding after some time
Hi there, I''m using the Suse Enterprise 10 RC2 along with Xen 3.0.2 on X86-64 and I''m experiencing a problem with the network. I boot into the Xen kernel and everything works just fine. I can browse the net etc. However after a while the network stops responding completely. I am not sure what causes this to happen or what triggers it. After a few hours, the network just stops

Smooth mailbox to maildir migration
...39;m about to do: create a second dovecot instance to cope with imap client configured for maildir (and possibly pop3 on another port for those using both), which means a dovecot launched with -c /path/to/alternate.conf and a new /etc/init.d/dovecot2-theRevenge having the proper -i option given to startproc in order to make it ignore the other instance. for each user: convert the mailbox with some sort of mb2mb (which is the better one?) create a .procmailrc with a proper DEFAULT= bearing the magic trailing slash indicating maildir to procmail for each converted user. And I'm done... Have I f...

replacement for start-stop-daemon on CentOS
Hi Folks, I'd like to use "start-stop-daemon" on my centos-machine. I know , it's debian-like. But I can't find "startproc" on my machine nor in the repos. What is the CentOS-replacement for "start-stop-daemon"? Thx Timothy P.S. I found a start-stop-daemon.c script - but how to compile it? gcc start-stop-daemon.c ends in much errors.

Samab and init.d
Is it better to start Samba using in initd, or to use the script, much like the one provided by SuSE. ?? so far I have used the script, but I don't like the fact of having to start samba manually. I would much prefer to see it run as a service. just to confirm all it really involves is starting smbd and nmbd Rowan [TSS] Gerber Scientific Products http://www.gspinc.com

NUT configuration complicated by Stonith/Fencing cabling
Roger, Thanks for your reply. As I understand it, for reliable fencing a node cannot be responsible for fencing itself, as it may not be functioning properly. Hence my "cross over" setup. The direct USB connection from Webserver1 to UPS-Webserver2 means that Webserver1 can fence (cut the power to) Webserver2 if the cluster software decides that it is necessary. If my UPSes were able to

Location to startup DRb Server
Hello, where (in which file/object) would I invoke the startup of the DRb server to support a rails application? It wouldn''t be config/boot.rb ? How would I shut it down cleanly? Greetings Michael Kastner

stable / unstable parallel install?
Hi, Is there some easy way to install both 2.x and unstable xen tools at the same machine? Seems /usr is hardcoded everythere in the tools Makefiles, looks like there is no easy way to put them to different paths (say, prefix /opt/xen2 and /opt/xen3) :-/ Gerd _______________________________________________ Xen-devel mailing list Xen-devel@lists.xensource.com
